Description The stories of the doctor depict the little Time lord and his companions getting into heaps of trouble, but no one ever really mentions what can happen to the TARDIS when he leaves her to go off on his next adventure.

Sure, she’s pretty much an inanimate object, so you’re going to ask yourself just how much trouble can she get herself into? Alas, you need not ‘look’ for trouble from time to time. It looks for you.

Of course, what’s not show here is the TARDIS later getting molested by a randy triceratops.

And then one of the dinosaurs ate the TARDIS, teleported forward in time, and started the first episode with Twelve.

So THATS why they never go to the prehistoric era(s) on the show!

What!? She's NOT inanimate subject! The vessels were grown, not built. (DW: The Impossible Planet) [link] Also watch Gayman's fantastic episode "Doctor's Wife". It shows very plainly how the TARDIS is very much alive albeit very alien life form.

Nice idea for image but TARDIS would not be afraid of some puny dinosaurs. She can survive in outer space, can tow entire planets and go trough void into other dimensions without scratch. What some reptile calcium spikes could do?

Still it is funny, especially that sniffing dinosaur

True..but I think she is more terrified if one of those huge dinosaurs decided to pee on her!

It's sort of like a Doctor Who/Primeval crossover, what with the curious dinosaurs sniffing at confusing technology. Sure, *humans* walk right past the TARDIS without noticing her, no matter how out-of-place she actually is, but not dinosaurs. They're more perceptive. Poor TARDIS. She doesn't look this nervous even when she's got missiles being fired at her by hostile aliens, but there's something about her body posture (can pseudo-telephone booths have body posture?) that says 'slightly scared, not liking the nose in her rear, wary of the circling T-Rex'.

Also, awesome background. And love the dinosaurs' faces -- those bewildered expressions are kind of priceless.

They need to do an episode where they come back to the TARDIS to find it tipped over on its side, just for the "WTF?!?" expressions alone!

I just got the brilliant idea to try using this as wallpaper. It makes one epic wallpaper!

Awwww TARDIS! Love her sad face.. Poor girl's over 1500 years old and she's still getting left behind to be peed on (and worse) by dinosaurs.

Omg when they run out of regenerations can we have a spinoff where the TARDIS communicates entirely in emoticons? I'd watch it.

I love the little unhappy face you drew for the TARDIS. Makes you sad to think about how many creatures have peed on it to mark it as territory.

Be forewarned, it's not as funny as I make it out to be.

It's actually quite depressing...

Yeah, my friend's just told me (thanks for the warning anywho)

But it's alright. I like angst. As long as it's not emo-cut-wristy-every-episode-angst

That's just annoying.

...

Someone should write a fanfic about what could happen to the Tardis when the Doctor's out...
