Hello! I was just wondering, how did you make the "lace-up" part of the boot? I can't seem to a good tutorial of this.. :/

Eh, it was mostly trial and error on my part. If you look at the front of the boots, the space in the middle was created by just cutting out and folding what would normally be the very front of the boot cover. I put enough of the same fabric behind the opening to make it look as though the boot has a tongue, and then glued the rest of the boot cover over it as normal. For the laces, I just used 5/32 eyelets and an eyelet hand punch/krimper.
Here is a really crudely drawn picture of what I laid over the top of the fake tongue and boot: [link] the red dots on the right version are where I added the eyelets.
Basically, before the back is sewn, it's just a giant U shape. You just have to make sure that the shape isn't too big/wide, and that the tongue fabric you lay under it covers enough of the boot so that there won't be any of the actual boot showing.

Do you do commissions? I might be interested in doing this cosplay in the future and the only thing I'm somewhat incapable of making is the boots.
