Sucks they didn't renew this show for a third season, Wabbit's decent and more faithful to the source material but TLS was funnier and more memorable IMO

I really miss the looney tune show, it's a shame it got cancelled; so sad. One of my favorite shows on CN (hopefully, it'll get another season)

It wasn't cancelled. It was planned for two seasons and either the creators or WB didn't feel like continuing. It had good rates so it wasn't cancelled due to inpopularity.

Well first off, please forgive that prior statement, clearly I didn't know what I was talking about; second, why would they do that? If it was a successful show that people loved why would they just stop? Laziness? Just from the writing alone it's obvious they worked hard on it, so I doubt that, and popularity not withstanding that was just a dumb decision business wise. Β

I don't know for sure but I would guess it was because of disinterest in it. Even before Season 2 began production they moved on to work on Wabbit. They changed the art direction which made it look awful and a lot of misses got through.
When TLTS was pitched it looked a lot more like the format of Wabbit, if you look at the oldest production art and the pilot episode (Casa De Calma) which stands out really oddly from all the other episodes in season 1.
My guess would be that the sitcom format wasn't what they really wanted to do. Although very well done, they wanted to move on to something else.
Warner Bros isn't very generous to the animation department from what I've heard. That might also be a reason. But all of this is just speculation so don't take my word for it

I actually like Wabbit (nice to see it's finally getting some new episodes after all this time), but I still liked TLTS more, they were both doing great so why'd they have to kill one? Does WB have a policy that only one series representing a franchise can air at a time? Oh well, maybe there's hope that they'll decide to bring it back one day, it happens. On another note, I LOVE your Hareaway concept; the design, the idea of bugs being a villain, I wish it would've been in the original show.Β Β If you ever get a job at WB, you should definitely work on rebooting it and putting him in.Β Β
