Description
A Gray Wolf variant I made for Microsoft and Blue Fang's Zoo Tycoon 2.This one is of course one of Amaterasu, the wolf god heroine of Okami.
Favorite thing about this is that when Ammy gets "sick" in the game, she looses her markings (like in the game when she runs out of ink), and the Dirty skin is her covered in the ink she plays with

INSTALLATION: This is a ZIPPED file. You will need to UNZIP this file, and then take the .z2f file inside it and place it into C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Zoo Tycoon 2.

im confused on how to put it in the right folder...the folder that microsoft games zoo tycoon 2 is in is program files(x86) but idk where to put the .z2f file in the zoo tycoon2 file...im totally lost

No, its not a separate animal. It randomly occurs when you place your regular wolves.

I cant find the folder anywhere in my zoo tycoon 2 folders after I have saved it, I must be doing something wrong, or it may be my computer (my computer is Vista)

Don't save it directly to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Zoo Tycoon 2
Download it to your desktop or a folder you can remember easily where it is at. Then unzip the file, and take the .z2f and put THAT in the above folder. Then it should work.

I have the same problem shadow wolf lover77 had and i cant get ammy to show up but i got rid of one of my wolf varients and she still wont show up and i got her in the right file so can u help?

If you have other wolf variants still, it may be that Ammy is the same number as explained before. Even if you have just ONE other variant, if both are file named _1, then only ONE will show up.

Hey i downloaded this skin, but it wont show on my wolves. I put it in the right folder, so thats not the issue. Do i have too download something else for this to work?

No, you do have to have your graphics settings on medium or high though.
You made sure to put the .z2f (not the .zip) into the folder, correct?
Also, do you have other variants installed?

The game allows for 4-5 slots for variants, labeled _1, _2, _3, etc. If any of the variants that you are using have the same label as my variant, it will not show up unfortunately.

I used to love playing zoo tycoon ! Was a great game, always ended up freezing on me though

Yep! There is an entire community surrounding it. I used to be admin at a couple of the major sites, but since the game is getting a bit dated the community is suffering a bit. I actually have made tons of animals and skins for existing animals
