Description This is one of a set of photos that I made for my college B&W photo class, back in 2006.

The series is called "Ma Famille", "My Family" in french. The stuffed animals portrayed are toys that I played a lot with when I was a kid. I put them in Mafia-style settings, using the play with Family and Mafia, since stereotypically the Mafia has that whole "you mess with my family, you mess with me" type setting. I used the stuffed animals because they would be the last things on earth that you would think of as being part of that style of living, and it brought humor to a subject not often portrayed as such.

Pictures were taken with a Pentax K1000 (wooo old school). Negatives and photos were all developed by me at the university's lab.

About this shot: The shot is okay, but the upper left hand corner was way too bright and I had some issues either with the negative or the print, as I have lines in the image. I tried to remove one but it's still bothersome!
