This picture has a lovely haunting appeal to it. You can almost hear Kagome's heart beat quickening.

Kagome's expression (not just facial but her entire stance) is unreadable! It's been about three minutes and I still can't put one solid emotion to it. Goshdarn you!

And it's just so awesome how Hiei's crimson eyes match his tanned skin and how Kagome's cool blue eyes blend well with her pale pinky skin. On top of that, both of their shades contrast each other so well that it just feels right. Perhaps, it's symbolism? Eh, probably me just over analyzing.

It looks great! And yeah he looks a tad on the evil side but if it's full size not as much. And I LOVE Kagome's eyes! They're such a gorgeous shade of blue and contrast so well with Hiei's crimson eyes.

Emailers are assholes really. Fanart is fanart. It's not canon so I don't see the point of spazzing out. I, for one, think this is an excellent piece. It's nice to come across decent HxK art. I'm not a huge fan of them, sort of a love/hate relationship with it, but this is cute and I like the coloring. Very nice.
