Description
Astronaut John Blackstar arrives by accident on the planet Sagar after being sucked by a black hole.Then he became the protector of Sagar with the help of his friends the Trobbits, Mara and Klone.
The cartoon never showed the actual landing on Sagar and the rest of his origin. It's only explained in the intro of the toon and that sucked cause, I would've loved seeing an "Origins" episode.
So I drew and colored this to show you how I picture the landing of Blackstar on Sagar.
I also updated his astronaut uniform.

An interesting take on the series. Yes, they just skimmed over the whole (presumed) crash and we never knew how Blackstar acquired the Star Sword afterwards.
And I would have also loved it if the series animation had been comparable to the opening sequence. Many cartoon and live action series of the day were bad for that. But Blackstar was the most striking example of a very spectacular and vibrant intro that gave way to rather lack luster effects and animation in each episode.
