-Bio: The Flying Scotsman is without a doubt one of the most famous steam locomotives, not just in England, but the whole world. Built in 1923 by Sir Nigel Gresley of the LNER, he received his namesake for pulling a fast express service from London to Edinburgh, Scotland, and has become famous for being the first engine to travel at 100 mph. Scotsman, or Scott for short is one of the biggest icons of railway preservation in the UK, and has even traveled to the United states, Canada, and Australia. He is also a welcomed visitor to the Island of Sodor, especially since he’s the brother of Gordon the Big Engine, whom both are very close, especially since these two are the only survivors of their class. Scotsman used to be a little pompous like his brother, but he gradually matured over the years due to the hardships he dealt with during his working career. After being preserved, he is now a humble, wise, and kind engine that doesn’t let fame get the better of him, as he’s even mentor to those striving to be just that, as having a celebrity status can have its limits. Flying Scotsman is still an example to be looked up to, and will still remain a well-known engine in the history of British Railways.

-Artist's Commentary: After uploading City of Truro, I thought about uploading the next famous engine, and who also was claimed to travel up to 100 MPH, Flying Scotsman! Now as you could tell, getting Flying Scotsman was a pain in the ass. Of course I modified Gordon's portrait from the engine, and re modified Spencer's tender into double in order to get him right. Getting him accurately was really a pain in the ass. But that's why I have you guys, just let me know in the comments below if I got anything right or wrong, and remember, no flowery praises, as I also need constructive criticism like I said thousands of times, and please guys, I need you to respond with me on this. I hope you like it nonetheless, and I'm curios, who do you think broke the speed record of 100 MPH? As I personally believe it was Scotsman!

-UPDATE (2/6/2020): I gave him a proper undercarriage in the front.

-UPDATE (11/16/2021): Here' Flying Scotsman, new and improved! Hope you like it, as this is honestly better than my old one, which was crap! At least this version looks like Scotsman! Enjoy my friends!

I love the tenders that you gave Flying scotsman,

because they look better than his tv series counterparts.

Thank you! I didn’t even notice the difference. As I mentioned, I recycled Spencer’s into these!
