hi john...
i went to sign up at your site for the first chapter but haven't received it yet. as for the book cover...i don't work on spec. if your serous about that we'd have to talk further. its a significant commitment to do something like that and i'd likely charge for time and come up with a quote or rate etc. that would depend somewhat on complexity of image. and since internet commisions are notoriously untrustworthy it would be money up front. Β let me know....thanks for the interest. ps. i'd like to read that chapter regardless. best of luck to you.

While using simple design cues, you can still manage to spice things up with the sprinkling some details at the right places, referring to the foreground astronauts, the hull texture of the space station, and the smaller objects in the distance near the station. I can appreciate this. Good work!

thanks. great observations. i was thinking of adding some graphics to some of the objects but didnt. i still may. maybe some astronaught hand holds in the foreground too. thanks.

That is stunning - so classic 70's book cover! Reminds me of the book Seetee Alert.
Love the contrast of colours too!

i can totally see that. ha! it kind of fell into an orange and blue color pallet at the end while i was working on the backdrop. the foreground is mostly neutrals. thanks!

Very cool... I like the blue lights, they make the station look stark and technological in contrast to the harsh warm planet and deep space. I also like the composition because it gives nice balance to the image. Lastly I like the crew and hardware. It looks not too far into the future, believable and well designed. You rock, mate.

Hi Mike! Wow what a compliment! Allthough I can't do the things you do I find your artwork hugely inspirational as well. You have a very distinct style that makes your work stand out, and not many people can do that. Well done, mate!
