I've been meaning to do some 11th Doctor art for a while now, but I've always put it off because I thought Matt Smith would be too hard to draw. Nothing could be further from the truth! His very distinctive features make him great fun to draw.Here is the Doctor practising his home made martial art-- Mop-Fu! Behind him, Amy and Rory wish the Doctor would get a different hobby.

I don't know, I've just never liked him and his stories. Sure, the individual ones are okay, but the overall storylines are needlessly complicated.

I almost choked when he reappeared in front of centurion Rory, but this time wearing a ridiculous fez slinging a mop in his armpit. The Matt Smith era writing is hilariously awesome.

Hey Manic, I thought you would be interested to know that back in the springtime, I was hanging out at my local bar in Williamsburg, Brooklyn on a Sunday afternoon when in walked Matt Smith! He was dressed pretty much to be seen with a bowler hat on. My jaw was still on the floor when a second later Karen Gillian walked in too! I knew they were both in town doing PR, but you never expect something like that to happen in a residential neighborhood! It was like being in an actual episode: "Take me to Brooklyn to see a local band in 2011." They both went in the back to watch the band. When I popped back about 15 minutes later, they were both videoing the band with their (sonic?) Iphones and texting. The most surreal experience ever for a guy who's loved Who since the 70s! I didn't have the guts to ask for a photo, but one of my friends did....

Wow, thanks! That's a great story! Williamsburg is quite a hip place to be seen (so I hear), so I guess it's likely as not that actors would want to hang out there.

Very nicely done!I think you capture the essence of the series. I have to look into Mop-Fu, it sounds interesting. A wet mop would make a formidable weapon! Great job.
