Description On friday, there was a Zombie Walk in Seattle.
Basically they wanted to break the world record of having the largest amount of people made up like zombies at one time.
I think they broke the record.
After they walked the streets for about 2 hours acting like zombies, they all gathered together and did the dance from Michael Jackson's Thriller. Which was absolutely amazing. Seeing 4000 people do the dance was a sight to be seen. By the way, the girl in the photo was doing the dance at the time of this picture. She was so into it, as you can tell.
After the dance, everyone settled down, and they played Shaun of the Dead on two big outdoor screens. The crowd was so interactive, it was great.
All in all, it was an amazing night.

Please tell me what you think of the photo! There may be more to come!

Timing.

All too often people get so wrapped up in photography, setting up shots and calculating lighting, careful poses and immaculate make-up to remember that some of the most classic, stunning photographs of all time had none of that, what it did have was timing - being at the right place at the right time to capture a tiny moment which if fussed over would have been lost.

This photograph is a perfect example of just that, it is simply the eye of a photographer capturing significance. The spontaneous pose in this image is almost frightening, the model about to pounce! little would you know she was actually boogying to Michael Jackson's Thriller, this combined with some beautiful lighting and composition and some perfectly complimentary post editing makes this, for me, a CLASSIC deviation.

Thank you so much for this critique, Caelen!
It really means alot to me when someone actually takes the time to examine, and break down a piece of my work.
I really, really appreciate this!

You are more than welcome Mike, I don't get too much time to spend on critiquing all the deviations I would like to - but so much of your recent work has been jumping out at me that I just had to take some time out to properly show my appreciation.

Well done, keep them coming..

Great focus - I love how you picked up a focused midground with blurred background and foreground. Great shot!

It's just amazing!
You captured the perfect pose and expression on her face.
Looking forward to see more!

Great capture yo! I do enjoy shots where the model is caught in action and not readily posing for the camera.

We don't have cool stuff like that here in Florida. Well just real life old people that are kind of like zombies. I guess their mumbling does sound like zombies though....brrraaaiiiinnnssss.

I really like that photo. You totally captured her in the moment. Even though she's doing the Thriller dance, it actually looks like she's going to attack and kill. AND I LOVE THE SEPIA TONE!!!

I found out about this event very last minute. I almost didn't go, but I am very glad I did.
The weather was perfect, it was too hot at first, but then cooled down enough for me to enjoy it.

I love this shot so much, because like you said, I captured her in the moment, she looks like she is going for the attack!
I didn't even get to see my photos until we all sat down and started watching the movie, all of the shots were spontaneous, and very fast.
I am still deciding on which ones I should upload next, or if I should upload anymore, because this is the best of them.
