This artwork depicts a weapon which is a part of my sci-fi world's lore. Do not copy the design, use it in your own artworks, or claim it as your own!

Lore and Description:
8K2 "Ingunis" is a multipurpose unguided rocket launcher manufactured by Kaneesian. It is a system which consists of three main parts that can be separated - the launch tube with the rocket, the fire control unit with the trigger and grips, and an optical sight with variable magnification and basic night vision capability. After firing the rocket, the entire launch tube is discarded and replaced with a new one. There are several rocket types available for this launcher - a tandem shaped charge anti-tank rocket, a high-explosive fragmentation rocket and a thermobaric rocket.

Despite the system being relatively simple and cheap to manufacture, it is very effective, the rockets don't use any revolutionary technology, but their payload is so massive that they are very effective against armored vehicles (in the case of tandem HEAT warhead) or against lightly armored targets and buildings in the case of the high explosive ones. One downside is the bulk and the substantial weight of the system. The launcher is usually used by a two-man team, where one soldier carries the launcher and the second soldier carries spare launch tube(s), or supported by a light vehicle which carries multiple launch tubes of various types.

The 8K2 launcher has been used by Istarian forces for several decades. Its anti-tank role has been diminished over the years, with the advances in armor and active protection system technology, but it is still commonly used against fortified positions and lighter vehicles. The design was further developed into the 8K4 "Nefelus" , which features a guidance system.

Inspiration and Background Information:
The role of this weapon is similar to the real-life Mk 153 SMAW, but no elements were taken directly from it. The rear section of the launch tube is inspired by the NLAW and the idea of the entire launch tube being a separate piece from the fire control unit is inspired by the FGM-48 Javelin and similar systems. The way the optical sight is mounted is similar to that of Panzerfaust 3. Overall, this design can be considered an amalgamation of various modern rocket/missile launcher models, with some custom elements sprinkled on top.
