Description Well, here is the first of my BlackOps Uploads featuring a completed unit.

The Hailfire packs a large Rocket Pod that fires in 9 Rocket Salvoes of medium ranges(Longer then other T3 Cybran Bots). The missiles are also Armed with EMP Warheads and have a decent area of effect and scatter. They use a Low Arc trajectory to reach thier targets in an accurate and timely manner. It's Legs let it keep up with oother T3 Ground forces and Provide support, shutting down units shortly to keep them from fighting back.

Faction: Cybran
Tech Level: 3
Unit Type: Land, Non-Amphibious
Unit Role: Medium Range Support
Abilities: EMP

Weapon Name: EMP Rocket Pod
Weapon Type: Low Arc Rockets

That basically sums it up. This unit's back story stretches pretty fact back to the Original SupCom, when it was origianlly a T3 Naval unit for Cybran xD

EIDT: Don't forget to Full View it for the Best Quality!

Textures Copyright to Gas Powered Games.(or Square Enix, I'm not sure exactly how its supposed to go not that SE has bought the SupCom Franchise)

BlackOps has a WIDE range of units avbailable to all factions, I suggest heading over to the Gas Powered Games forusm and Downloading the current release of all the BlackOps mods to see just how much we've done over the last 2 years;

BlackOps:Unleashed - The Main mod, contains the Bulk of the new units.
BlackOps:Advanced Command Units - Completely revamps the ACUs to provide better scaling, more upgrades and some REAL weapon options.
BlackOps:Special Weapons - An extra unit Pack that pulls ideas from Team Meber's older mods but does it all much much better.
BlackOps:Naval Rebalance - a Revamp of Naval balance to provide better gameplay and balance.
BlackOps:Global Icon support - Not a unit mod per-se, but required.
BlackOps:Alternate Reality - Kinda like the dumping ground for ideas that didn't make the cut to one of the main mods, or old versions of units or ideas/models that just aren't high quality enough for the main mods, units are NOT fully Balanced nor will they ever be.

Once again nice job, I used to love the player made units in Total Annihilation.

well its official, i'm re installing SC:FA just so i can see this in action. I've always enjoyed the black ops mods, and i'm excited to find out that you did the modelling.

Well the Hailfire has been in BlackOps for a bit now, you must be really behind if you don't reconze the new Hailfire.

well your right, i'm a bit behind on the mod. I had some bugs running it on my old and new machines, so i haven't had a chance to fix that until recently. Turns out visual basic wants to debug everytime it loads, easilly fixed now that i know whats going on. Either way its still an exceptional model.

nice unit. but the legs look pretty scrawny and the missile pod looks huge. I'd expect the blast back to put the unit 20 feet back every time it fired.

Its not any worse than anything else in SupCom!

oh, but when I don't make sense I can't hide behind, "it's a game." I see how it is.

I'm not saying its perfect, but on the other hand, its not too overly big and the spacing between the legs helps keep it sturdy, also I'm thinking you might be giving rocket pods more recoil than they actually have.

while they might not have that much recoil, at the size they are it might become more encumbering.considering it's the same size as the rest of the unit. maybe a little more even.

The Turret is big sure, but its not the same size as the rest of the unit, the body is wider, longer and has some undercarrige for the legs that you can't see form 'standard' viewing angles.
