Description Don't forget to Full View it for the Best Quality!

This guy was added to give the Cybran Faction another means to surprise or ambush enemies instead of using the Deciever(T2 Mobile Stealth Generator). Its armed with a Rapid Pulse laser in the head with a high rate of fire to deal out a decent mount of damage to targets and an EMP Burst gun in the Tail to stun enemy units, preventing them from retreating or attacking. It's special Stealth and Cloaking sytems can only be activeted when the unit isn't moving or shooting, allowing it to lie in wait for an enemy impervious to most forms of radar and visual deteching, but once it start moving or attacking the Stealth and Cloak are turned off to suppl power to the weapons and or locomotion systems.

Faction: Cybran
Tech Level: 2
Unit Type: Land, Non-Amphibious
Unit Role: Close range Ambushing
Abilities: Stealth/Cloak, EMP

Weapon Name: Rapid Pulse Lasers
Weapon Type: Direct fire Lasers, Rapid Fire

Weapon Name: EMP Burst Tail gun
Weapon Type: Direct Fire EMP Burst, Long Reload

That basically sums it up. This unit originally started out using Tachikomasa dn other GitS Multiped Tanks as inspiration.

Sorry to trouble you again but I forgot to ask if these new machines are for Supreme Commander 1 or 2.
If they aren't for Supreme Commander 2 then forget my next question: I have windows 7 and I don't know how to download them...can you help?

SupCom1, Specifically Forged Alliance, we had considered doing sometihng for Supcom2 but without mod support it would be far too much work to get something on the scale of BlackOps into Supcom2 on top of the fact haw the game is set up kinda goes agasint teh idea of a unit pack, especially after the DLC, because the game works around each faction only haveing 1 tank, 1 Bot, 1 Artillery ect ect means adding more is hard to to do to teh quality we aim for, and with upgrades....well that just makes it harder.

And this is even before you have to consider the fact that SupCom2 technically isn't moddable, what all the current 'mods' really are is hacking the game to allow user content. As far as installing SupCom2 "Mods" you shoudl check with the creators to review thier installing instructions.

i know quite old post but still-
you probably know it by now but there are indeed guys that try to mod/hack supcom 2
making the "supcom 2 revamp expansion" mod
so far the stuff they brought out looks quite impressiv
assuming you have seen it, what do you think of th mod so far?
-
are you going to upload stuff from PA here as well ... or is there another side you stick to for uploading model/modpictures?

I never cares for SupCom2's Aesthetics, I feel that GPG did the IP a large disservice when they abandoned the well grounded aesthetic from SupCom1/FA(among other things like the economy) in what felt like nothing more than trying to pander to the larger market instead of focusing on delivering a solid product.

As for the Revamped mod, I have seen some of the pre-rendered stuff they've put out and honestly I don't care for it much, it feels very inconsistent and I just don't find it very appealing.

i actualy don´t care that much for aestetic either since my focus is on the gameplay..
they stated they want to bring back the economy, tecktiers and scale from FA..and that in combination with the research tree is actualy what made me curious about it
i´m sceptical of if and how they get the balance between techtiers and research right..aside from animations and modeling that seems to be quite a challenge imo..
..if they are that far that it works out i may give it a shoot..
-
other then that i´m realy curious of how galactic war works in planetary annihilation
cross planetary transportation, invasions or planetdefence and economy are a bit of a concern to me
since it doesn´t seem to be so clear in the forums..

I'm curious, why would/should it be clear?

should or should not?

to put it short ...
in the very end the question is if the concept they are going for doesn´t end up to be too complex/laborius for that scale ...
and man i just wondered about a load of stuff while reading through the forum ...
but putting that here would end in a great wall of text ...

But in the end, you still have to do things in order, figuring out the exact details of interplanetary transportation before you even know how the game will play is wasteful as you can't account for any side effects from core gameplay elements until you actually test it.

I take it you haven't check any of the stickied threads, because at this stage, all the core and many, many secondary items/ideas have been talked to death, The stickies have some threads that help to clear out information and the forum has a search tool.

sure not all of them since it´s quite a lot of stuff and i don´t have much time ...
and i´m not trying to figuring out the EXACT details,
just want to have a good idea what to expect from the game
... at least one thing i have absolutely no idea what to expect/imagine is the orbital stuff and fighting on gasgiants ...
but yeah sure we only realy know how the stuff works exactly when playing the beta or releaseversion ...
it´s just simply the excitement, curiousity ... and waiting for the game and hope that everything works out propperly ...

nice sturdy legs. do the weapons have any range of motion or does the whole thing have to turn for even small angles?

The head has a limited foward arc while the tail has a large arc that covers the sides as well.
