We were just left in bed and we knew we had no permission to leave the bed so our only choice was to stay in bed as long as we would fall asleep :'D

Hahah, no need to be sorry at all! But to be honest... Splinter is (as a father) much more better, caring and loving than my father. My father was much MUCH more worse than Splinter ever would be :'D

I mean I normally never haven't been afraid of people but I really was afraid of dad (I'm sure my siblings were afraid of him too). I mean he got so angry so easily. Like one wrong word or wrong tone in your voice and he just snapped. He never hit us or anything but heck, he was scary when angry and he was angry usually a lot. That's why none of us kids most surely didn't even feel or think him as our father. We usually never didn't even talk to him. It was rare if any of us talked to him. He never hugged us, he never played with us, he never asked how's school or anything (though mom didn't do any of that either :'D but that's okay) and I think it was because actually he didn't want to have kids but he did got 3 after all. BUT 6-7 years ago when dad found new woman, divorced from mom and experienced a lot of hard times, he started to change and he has become more gentle and understanding now and I actually talk him a lot in each month by phone calls and text messages.

Yeah, after life showed him some lessons with those hard times. Without them he would never have changed for sure. I know that dad keeps very rarely contact on my big sis (they, kind of, never haven't get along) and my little brother dad can't keep any contact at all because my bro lives in Sweden and so calling there would cost way too much and dad don't have computer (he never hasn't been interested about them) :'D
