My cosplay of Cooro from +Anima this weekend at Zenkaikon.I loooove this manga. Cooro is one of my favorite characters. And I'm really glad that this costume turned out so well. :3

Haha, if I was going to do anyone else from +Anima it would be Rose. I think I might try that sometime~ The only thing is, I've never actually seen a color picture of her.../sigh
And no, it's not the hardest cosplay. Finding the socks and arm warmers was harder than I thought, though. o.o And coloring the feathers can be a pain...and the boots were hard. I'd never done boot covers before. But the other parts don't take very much in the way of sewing. XD

It's a purple-y red colour of her hair/clothes... look for cosplays of her, theres some around here on DA... and thats the sort of colour your aiming for. cool hope you do
Yeah those two bits do look very specialised, could make them, if i knew the patterns and could make them I'd make half of the costume, the t-shirt and jacket would be easy to find if you know the colour, also have the belt, and the headwear to do.
Not sure how far down the wings route I'll go, I might avoid that part.

And yes, everything is pretty easy to find. XD You just have to poke around on the internet for some things. :3

Yeah I havent seen many but looking for cosplay can be as close... it's a pity its been in the background also its been out like 3-4 years. Yeah although would rather give it a go on my own way... also if I can make it and find material wouldnt be so bad... also its sizing and shipping the main problem... certain items wouldnt appear as you want ti.
hehe nice... I'd rather have the wings he have or not bother with them... maybe focus on the costume and headwear...

Yeah, it's kind of an old one. But surprisingly, a lot of people recognized me.
Also, making things is always a good way to go. I try to make a lot of my cosplay.
And it really depends on how much you want to spend on wings, and how often you're going to use them. If you need them more than once, I'd splurge on a fancy pair...but I don't think I ever need them for more than just this cosplay. :3

well you can buy them as long as you make it work on your terms...
yeah most people make them... its mainly cost and what other use I'd get off them so there isnt much reason to make them, unless i can borrow someone elses

I'm not sure when it ended, but it wasn't terribly long ago.
And yeppp, I usually make my cosplays because it's cheaper. And because I like to sew, so it's fun!

it took about 5-6 years for the 10 volumes... and 3 years to bring them out here.
I would like to but not got the experiences or the material shops to get what I need... also it takes a while to get stuff started... x.x
why buying helps me, well its part how you wear it and act not just how you get it

:3 Buying costumes is a *lot* easier. And if it's well made, it's a good idea...I'm going to be a fashion major though, so I've always liked to make my own things.

The site I go on do good jobs, except for drocell which came with blue trousers when they are actually black... and it was basic, but that gives time to alter it myself (and alterations shop in town) so it helps if they leave bits off and its good quality
its also sizing...
