Beautiful Piece! I'm currently rereading Hamlet for the third time.

Very cool artwork.
The image of Hamlet holding the skull of Yorick is so iconic in Shakespeare, as is Ophelia's drowning. While many people hold prop skulls in the play, there was actually a pianist who requested his skull be used as a Hamlet prop. I think he was dying of cancer and requested his body be donated to medical research, but that his skull would be used in the play. No one used it until David Tennant held it up a few years ago when he played Hamlet. Kind of creepy...
Anyway, I love this art.

I'm using the acrylic color.

the modelling paste works really well in the background to bring out a little gothic feel that is fitting to 'hamlet'. the angel behind him glows and appears incandescent.
there is a small perspective issue with his feet that bothers. other than that this is an excellent piece.

strikingly beautiful! especially hamlet deep in thought in this classical scene with the skull in his hand turned out perfect
