This is simply one of the best action pieces of the good old turtles that
I've seen in a while.
Amazingly drawn presentation aside,
the dark and widened feel of this bit of work showcases the
shadowed figures of the ninjas perfectly,
and although Leonardo's cloth didn't end up blue,
the reflected blood red on your Rat King adds an ominous feel
to the entire scene.

thanks! Yeah, the new Rat King has become one of my favorite villains of the new show. Which is funny considering how completely against his redesign I was when I first saw it ( the 80's rat king was better in my mind). But after understanding the concept behind his look it made total sense and I love it now.

Yeah, 80s Rat King was the better design. I wasn't too thrilled about his redesign either, but it did grow on me after a while. The whole plague doctor thing was a cool idea.

Being a hardcore fan of the Rat King myself, I was totally in the same boat as you guys. I loved the Rat King being a delusional bum in the sewers who thought he was a giant rat. But, this new version has definitely grown on me. Having him voiced by the legendary Jeffery Combs of Re-Animator fame doesn't hurt either. This is so awesome, man. Did you add fold lines to make it look like a classic fold-out poster?
