I mean yeah. I am not a fan of identity theft. Thor is litterally the guys name. Not his super hero identity. You don't have to steal someones identity to make a female version of something.

Thor is a title, you stick in the mud. She's wielding the hammer, therefore she is Thor.

Thor is a name. She's a champion of Mjolnir, doesn't make her him. Marvel using Thor's name for publicity sake to generate interest. It's disappointing they won't just let her be her own character with her own name.

Marvel already has Torunn, Thor's daughter from the Next Avengers, they easily could have used her, or a Valkyrie, or a shieldmaiden

plus "Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor." doesn't mean they become Thor, it means they possess his power, it's like if Zeus sealed Hercules' power in his belt and it said on it "Whosoever wears this belt, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Hercules." that doesn't make them Hercules, it means they possess the power of Hercules

It's pretty much telling you she's not She-Thor or Lady Thor. She's not Thorika. She is Thor. This is the new Thor. So I like that part of it."

Thor is his name, not a title, they could easily have just had his hammer pass to his daughter Torunn in the Marvel continuity

she is not Thor, she possesses Mjolnir and his powers, that doesn't remove his name and cast it upon her, if someone takes the spear from beside my computer desk that doesn't make them me, it means they have my spear
