this is my dinah costume entry for 's costume contest.

i'm hoping that dispite the quickly drawn back she gets what the back looks like.

the idea was basically a shortened dress and i took inspiration from my brother's fife and drum uniform for the pants. i added medallions from Bethesda Terrace in central park on ribbons along the pants.
the top part of the shirt (the under part anyway) has pinstripes (because i like stripes) and puffed sleves. the part of the sleves near the wrist were borrowed from dress from 1917 [link] but was modified to come to an angle twords the middle finger in a ring. (i have no fashion vocabulary, i appologise)
the back looks a little like a ball gown that was shortened into a shirt. i remembered what had mentioned in a panel from NY comic con about dinah's costumes becoming less restrictive, and she wants somehting that dinah can basically move in easily. the only thing i question is the shoe choice, but i didn't figure she would put dinah in sneakers. still i can't run in heels. (i can barely stand in them )

umm.. i'm sorry if she looks like a waiter with the bow i just noticed that... you can tak it off if you choose it.
