Just be patient and believe in your self.
Oil colors take time to find out the best way for you to use them. Books help. Schools and profesors too. But in the end it's allways you. I muself struggled much in the beginng.

Thank you very much for the advice. I will be patient. I am still in highschool, but I finish in a few weeks, so hopefully I'll have to space to learn and enjoy them, producing work from myself, not for others,

Well, for me, it's all in the mind. I love the smell of of oil and how the colours mix with each other. Also it takes some time for the oil colours to dry. For me acrylic colour are just as good, and I've been useing them lately, but my heart is still in oil. So to speak.
