A lot of your work takes me right back to childhood, that sense of wonder and whimsy,and openemotional state, before we learn to shadow and stall our tears or fright or silliness,a lot of your pictures are from books I read, or should have and force the writer in me to make up the tale,not like these need any accoutrements, they're fully formed and fabulous! 🐙 --octupus says yay!

Wow, I really love how you're able to create a moment in time in such a surreal way. This painting stirs up childhood memories watching anime, with something really warped and "not quite right".
Kinda gives me Henri Rousseau vibes a bit too in some of your paintings. I LOVE YOUR WORK.
(Not tryin' to come off like a stalker here, but my BC curiosity is getting to me, what part of Canada are you from?)

One tree is about to get murdered and has the expression "Yep......this is it".
The other tree looks distraught. I don't know why tough. Tree are suppose to 'lose' their fruits.

It reminds me of the miniatures in illuminated manuscripts. The depth of color and the poses a bit. I feel so bad for that tree, it looks like he's afraid and trying to keep a stiff upper lip!
