Beaded balloons, made from lightweight polymer clay inlaid with various tiny seeds beads, etc. After baking the beads are very secure in the clay. The thread runs through the balloon and beads are pushed into the balloon where the thread enters and exits the clay for easy threading as well as having the bonus of protecting the clay from eroding through the wear and tear of moving around on the tigertail cord. The basket (fullview to see it, please!) is held on with twisted pins to keep it in place, with clay cemet added afterwards to make sure that it is super-secure.
2.5cm (1") across.

Thankyou! These are the most fiddly to do - mostly as it is hard trying to avoid actually pushing your fingernails into the lay as you are putting the beads in, but it is fun to do!

Very striking & fun colors, just the way hot air balloons shud be! Love the way u arranged the colored strips & beads! The baskets & sandbags are done beautifully as well! You are very creative.

Thankyou very much, viscious-speed. The beads are the very smallest size seed beads, so they are a bit fiddly, but sometimes very intricate work can be therapeutic, so it helps me relax of an evening, especially when my boyfriend was watching something boring on TV.
