Thank you very much for your critique!
Your tips are very useful <3
Yes I made a specific palette for this ;w;
I tend to find it really difficult adding very different colors in a palette, especially in traditional art when you have the create the colors yourself ><
Yep it's all acrylics, I don't even own watercolors ;w;
I indeed used the acrylics to create the watercolor effects ~

Yep huge snowball is huge haha :")
Thank you for your comment <3 I voted for fair
The impact may have been taken away a bit by the picture of this painting. In real life I feel the impact of the colors come out a bit better.
However the impact could still use some improvement in real life haha
I'm glad you like the rest though~ I'll certainly create more in the future

I guess I understand what you mean with the chibi thing ;w;
I haven't seen RWBY chibi though but I can see her pose and etc has a bit of a chibi moment feel~
And yep screw physics, real physics are boring
Thank you for your comment by the way~
It's appreciated <3

Thank you for your small critique~
I really like the way you wrote it, it's playful and it reminds me of a verse or maybe even lyrics haha
I kinda agree on the comment on the hair color
How I do like the yellow in it, as I was going for a more blond ish color. However I just feel like I overdid it and now the hair has a green ish effect which wasn't what I was going for initially.
The sketch I'm showing here underneath is a digital colorscheme sketch. This is more like how I wanted it to end up

Overall
Vision
Originality
Technique
Impact
- vision;
wow! these colors are so pretty, the green in her hair accents the colors of the whole picture and looks absolutely wonderful. the blue and white is soft and isn't harsh on the eyes. while i admit her hair does remind me a little bit of toothpaste too, it isn't a bad effect. i adore her expression and how much detail you put into this.
- originality;
while pastel-colored season-based anime girls are never all that original, i like how you pulled this off. i don't think i've ever seen anyone pull off a background like that without making it look awkward. the yellow accents the blue quite well, and the anatomy overall is very good from what i can tell, so it helps quite a lot
- technique;
my god, your technique on this is amazing! the acrylics you used are obviously rather smooth, because none of this looks clumpy
the shading on the clothes is subtle but easy on the eyes, and it's excellently done. your color choice was wonderful here, her hair is very interestingly colored but it's not bad. in fact, her hair is rather good! the shading is smooth and makes her hair look like it's flowing.
- impact;
as i had stated previously, pastel-haired seasonal anime girls are never too original and don't leave much of an impact, but i think this image definitely would, considering her gorgeous hair and how well drawn that tree is. overall, this picture is beautiful and very fitting for the season it's based off of.

I'm glad you still somehow managed to notice these snowflakes :'D
But I figured the snowflakes being barely visible would be kinda fine in this setting as the background is super light ;w;. In a real life setting like this the snowflakes would also be difficult to see I guess ;o;
I completely agree on the pose! I wasn't actually planning on letting her sit on the snowball at first and therefore the kinda failed pose ;w;
The scanner did indeed kinda negatively affect the drawing, the same flaws are apparent in the real version
Thank you for taking your time to write this for me ;w;

Thank you~
I kinda wanted to create the feel when everything is being covered by snow, in this setting the snow often ends up blinding your vision and everything looks so light ;w;

I saw this on so I'm dropping you a comment.
I don't want to repeat what was already said in the critiques of this piece, beyond your grasp of the media shows you understand that acrylics can be used like watercolors. I really would like to know what type of paper you used though, or if you used something like bristol board to get such a smooth gradient and how you managed to keep your colors so soft in places but yet add darker values to areas you want to bring out. The use of yellow is a great choice and makes the blue branches really pop and appear icy. Same for the giant snowball. It looks like you also underpainted or did a wash of yellow on the character's hair which is a nice touch. The only thing I would say needs to be fixed, and this is just my opinion is that it would be good to maybe add darker shades to the character's dress and stockings. At the current level, she almost disappears against the snowball. Looking at the other characters in this series I do see a trend in how their costumes do blend in with the background and emphasie the "season" motif. So, it is purely just an aesthetic thing on my part. Technically, this piece is beautiful, and I hope you upload more soon!

I used pre flattened watercolor for this ;o; The paper was made for this so that's why it workes so well ^^
While the blending was partially on purpose on this themed series, I would've also liked it better with a better contrast ;w;
Thanks a lot for the comment by the way <3

Such soft colors. Unlike another comment, I'm really enjoying the saturation of the hair. This picture looks really peaceful.

It's ADORABLE!!! The pale harmony of the colors is really pretty, and the little girl is just so cute! The only thing I would mention would be her feet: they do look a tad awkward as they come from the legs, and the boots don't look very thick. But I love the color of her hair, and how the piece is mostly white, yet everything stays distinguishable, and it's all so subtle!

Now you mention it.. the boots should've been thicker indeed ;o; it looks kinda out of place in this winter themed drawing now
