I can't express how proud of this costume I am. 1027+ hours of work so far and still some tweaking to do before she can be considered 100% complete. :3 Materials used include worbla finest art, wonderflex, instamorph, resin, craft foam, silk, and satins. This is a design that I created myself for the character. I wanted to capture a little bit of that Snow Queen in her. This Elsa is a little older than the film version by about three years. There are over 250 scales on the corset and I utilized emblems from Elsa's coronation gown into the corset design. The silver details on the armour are airbrush detailing and the shirt also has been faded into a dark blue at the edges of the sleeve with airbrush (I love gradients!).

She has matured in magic and skill and knows how to better protect her people and make them happy. Initially when I came up with her design, I was a bit afraid to do it because it would be so drastically different than the film! It wouldnt be super accurate as far as the costume went. She went through 13 different designs before I settled on this one. The key was keeping what was obviously ELSA and incorporating other elements into her costume such as her coronation dress emblems and the icy look of her dress and corset. <3 The scales replace the corset's squares for a more battle-like approach.
