Just another photo to celebrate spring... even though it's on the calendar but not here.It was 45℉ Saturday, now it's cold and snowing hard enough that it's setting off my motion-sensor on my garage light.
Still working on the bodice and cape as I want to try experimenting with more materias but there's no real deadline for them. Also, more photo proof that I finished the costume and wore it.

Thank you. I find it rather fun to greenscreen in backgrounds and make them fit the photo or artwork. It's worth dabbling with if you have the time.

Well, the most concise answer is that I learned to sew [clothing] in 96' and switched to sewing costumes almost exclusively around 06/07' (when I started attending conventions and actually had a place to wear said costumes besides Halloween events LOL).

I started gathering costumes in 2009, but just recently started learning to make things myself. I have yet to completely make a costume item myself. Only thing I would say I made are the two Jack Sparrow wigs that I use. But most of my stuff is bought and then modified, but I am in the process of learning to sew costumes.

Gorgeous work on the costume! I've been looking up elsa cosplay, and everyone sorta just gives up on making the outfit I think. They just put on something blue and call it good. You did a wonderful job!

It's probably not as bad as I feel it is. This is the first costume I took creative liberties with so it's scary and feels incomplete to me. Every other costume I've made was rather straight forward, I knew exactly what I needed to get the intended effect. This one, not so much. I think that the more photos I see of it, the better I feel about it. It is mostly that the entire ensemble is not "exactly" what I see on screen, but then again, neither is anyone else's Elsa ice queen costume but people still manage to make gorgeous gowns too.

Pretty much. Hahaha, but jokes aside, I still have a mini Plymouth Rock of ice left from December's ice storm + 4ish feet of snow on top of it. All I needed to do was add blue dye to the ice. It seriously COULD have happened.
