I finally got out of my deep thoughts and grabbed my bag of food to return ‘’home’’. I was REALLY careful. I heard some noise near me, I just didn’t want for my journey in this place to end now. It was only the third day or something I was in. I can’t remember when I last slept all right.
….Beep….Beep….Beep…
AGAIN?!
But I just had mine….
I looked up to see another bag coming from the sky.
….Beep….Beep….Beep…

I could read ‘’ District 9’’ on it. It was definitely for me as Roach was not near me. I was too tired to jump for it, so I waited for it to fall on the cold and fresh snow. I took it with the one I already had, slowly walking back in the mountains, I found a part where I could avoid the forest. It is longer, but safer.
I was back now, sleepy, hungry and exhausted. I opened the first back to grab something to eat as the sun started to go down again. Night time. Gosh I hated that in here, good thing I have a good night vision.
During the night, I could hear some noises. The sound of claws on the rocks, that’s it! There is someone in the cave!!! Without making too much noise, I crawled behind a rock. I couldn’t be more thankful than right now to have a black pelt. It was perfect to hide. I looked up. Kiche, that western girl… I didn’t have much energy, but I still wanted to live. I growled loudly before jumping on her, which surprised her a lot. I had the advantage and I pushed her out of the cave, forcing her to be visible in the moonlight. We stared at each other’s eyes for a long moment before charging and fighting to survive. Only one could come out alive of this battle. It can’t be me. We fought for a long moment. We were both very aggressive. As usual, I showed no mercy and as she came for my ribbon, I twisted my head back, making her bite my cheek, leaving a painful wound. I didn’t have the time to realize that as I grabbed her neck and nailed her to the ground.
Suddenly, I felt bad for her. I could see fear in her eyes, but soon, it vanished. Luckily, I was still on my guard and I prevented her from grabbing my life away. I couldn’t fight much longer today. It was the time to make it end…
I grabbed with no regrets what she only had left.
It was done for her. I looked up at her body as the plane and the white guys came to pick it up. I looked down and returned in the cave.
We were now 15 dogs left as 3 more died right after Kiche.
What I did not knew was that the next day, the forest would blow up in flames….
