wouldn't it be ironic if you drew "non-dark" animals (like goldfish instead of bats)? i'm not even sure who classified those creatures as dark in the first place ...

probably because the are nocturnal animals and because some of them are little vampires.. the ones in south america.. enough for people to make them into 'dark' creatures. but it might have happened before their south american relatives were discovered.. in the middle ages .. during the witch-hunt period? witches.. bats.. fly at night...... probably that's the connection .. they fly with the witches and thus are dark, the witches' dark companions.. ...... i personally love bats.. they are cute.. ugly little things

i guess it's all about human superstition. it may go like: we fear the unknown > we fear darkness > darkness = bad > any nocturnal animal = darkness = bad.

a fractal is an image.. based on mathematics actually.. and there are several programs that you can use for making these images. if you follow the link in my footer you will get to my other account where you can see lots of fractals *chaotic-mimustock ... i am sorry i am not very good at explaining this.. perhaps you should also go to google and just search for fractals.. i am sure you will find a better explanation there
