i drew this two nights ago after i couldn't do my algebra I homework cuz i had no bloody idea where my book was. 32 questions that would take me an hour and a half. Turns out my friend Yuki-chan *who may or may not be joining devART soon* had taken my comment "take my algebra book, i dun want it, i hate algebra" a bit seriously and actually took it and didnt give it back til yesterday morning. Thank god it wasn't lost. So anyway, i drew this cuz i was really sad, and i needed something bright and cheery. whats cheerier than pigtails? Nothing, my friend. Nothing. i worked super-hard on my clothing wrinkles and shading. When I got done, i used one of my favorite techniques--takin' the ol' tissue and smearin' it all in. To get the smoky/rainy/misty/whatevery effect. HEY!! MY HANDS DO NOT LOOK SO HORRIBLE ANYMORE!! okay, they're still not real good, but this is at least the first decent pair in a while. okay. bai bai. pleeze comment.
lloky, i even did some shadowy shading things on the letters! eek!

algebra = evil! but yes; nothing brightens up the day like pigtails! X3 So cute! I really like the windswept feel the hair gives!

thank you! *is sho happy* hands are hard to draw. Most stuff in art, like anatomy or clothing, can be mastered with a great deal of practice. not hands. they take a heck of a lot more practice than that. *sigh* dont be embarassed of drawing hands--the more you draw them, gradually, the better you'll get!

ZOWIE!!!! That total rocks! :hugs: It's so much better! You've improved so much. Just maybe make the arms a little longer. Remember, fingers reach about mid-thigh. ^_^ Keep working hard!

really??! AWESOME! *hops up and down and squeals like a 3 year old* wow! yeah, about the arms thing-i realized they were too short after i was done*musta been preoccupied with the evil clothing wrinklies to notice earlier.* and i was too lazy to go back and fix it.
