Done!! From lineart to finished color in 3 hours or so. ^_^I used 's coloring tutorial to make the lines puuurty, and also took 's advise and did a background. That's a HAND-DONE background, ladies and gentlemen. Nearly killed my wrist. 0_0 And it still looks like crap! Huzzah! I'm trying to look like I know how to paint! *konks self on head* NO, YOU DON'T.
Moving on.
You may recognize the colors from another character of mine...I should upload some more old stuff so you guys can see that. ^_^;; Yesh. Anyway, it's kinda a homage to my old digimon character, Okomon. ^_^ I miss her...
Um...does this contain mature content? I mean, she's not wearing pants, but neither does Winnie the Pooh or Homestar Runner or Donald Duck...0_o

I love the colors you chose and how you sis the background, by hand no less! ^^ Tis awesome and stuffs! and Im actually going to have to disagree with Sahva, I really like the very dark eyes, gives her a certain understanding feel. *shrugs* just my opinion. *loves* ^^

PS: You did this in Photoshop yes? If so it does not belong in Traditional Art, it belongs in Digital art because of all the awesome digital painting! I don't know why I even noticed this or care but I figured I'd point it out

*shrugs* Perhaps. I always go off of how much time it took for traditional processes vs. digital processes, and the traditional processes took much longer for this work I think.

I don't think it's mature content, I mean if you just look at the crotch it practically looks like she is wearing a bathing suit anyways, so no big deal, I say.
As an after thought, I'd suggest putting some kind of shine-mark on the eyes, they look a little dull (in the sense that they are anti-shine not dull as in boring XD)

That's how I fix my black and white lineart. I tried that tutorial the moment she put it up ^_^ It makes black look so much.. blacker (at least compared to how the scanner originally picks it up
