Description Whew, it's been a while, eh? Work/House/Life just refuses to leave me alone so I can cook lately

TOP: rice, grilled burger, fried mochi with red bean, Panama golden frog (THANKS GOOGLE!) made of carved sweet potato and nori and brushed with a little water right before the picture for that lovely amphibian glow

BOTTOM: pink flowers (pickled cucumber and radish), yellow flowers (kiwi/peach slices)


The sweet potato was left over from my Deadliest Catch bento that I still need to upload (did I mention I'm reeeally busy these days?)

Here's hoping I'll get to cook more soon!

Very nice and original. The frog is very well executed and I really like how you made the flowers.
BTW excuse me for my lacune in english, but when when you say it's a burger, you mean it's filled with stuff? Because to me it looks just like a sesam bun...

Oh! Sorry for the confusion! The "burger" is referring to the brown meat in the middle (it is sliced up hambuger meat) and the sesame bun on the right is a fried dessert cake that has sesame seeds on it.
