I could make a pretty good mini boss out of him for a home game.

Its mostly a Romanesque blade with a Kuni ring at the end of it. I thought it would be cool if he used that ring to grip it for swinging attacks or to hurl it. I also liked the idea of a gigantic guy carrying a weapon from something that makes him look tiny.

There's nothing quite like the 8ft tall 500+ pound meat wall. I haven't quite figured out how he plays against type. The gentle giant is overdone but the stoic is also. Maybe he is more the calm exterior which houses great internal turmoil, making him potentially very dangerous but capable of deep (and possibly very flawed) emotional reactions when the story calls for it.

Genius may overshadow the mage but he could be an excellent emissary to primitive cultures, i.e. he can be all like Josey Wales and get the Indian chief to agree to peace by riding in solo and playing up the right angle to get an accord rather than a bullet (of course, being a titan he would get respect from warrior peoples on sight anyhow).

Or Indiana Jones. Might seem like a knucklehead on the surface but then actually knows a lot about history, customs, and artifacts, and speaks lots of languages.

Thanks. I think the ring at the bottom makes it especially interesting because of the way you can swing/hurl it (and as a magic weapon it returns to the thrower, mwa ha ha ha ha!).

Actually yes. Anduris is the fantasy world I created for my D&D campaign. It is like Darkcity meets Warhammer 40k. The world is a construct which requires machines called divine engines in order to maintain life. These machines are tended by tech priests based on an ancient holy book given to the sentient beings of Anduris by the servitors or the machine god. The machines spread a radius of of vitality to the world and allow large populations to live in cities with limited arable land where the world outside of the cities cannot fully support life.
My last campaign took place in the Empire on the western shore of the main continent where the largest and most powerful of the ancient cities still stand. The new campaign will be in the Kingdom of Flame in the east where the land is filled with the offspring of Firespine, the dragon queen whose semi-human descendants are chosen as monarchs by a powerful aristocracy.

Its just interesting, a knife handles so much differently then a sword. It must take an enomrous amount of skill to use it properly. Knifes are usually used for throwing, stabbing, and hand to hand combat, so using it as a grand weapon is interesting.

It ends up requiring a lot of strength but does not have the range that a comparable greatsword does. This means that it inflicts more damage but is less effective for defense. The ring on the end, however, allows the dagger to be swung by the end which increases the force with which it is swung.

I'm not particularly good with weapons either but I have no training. I have seen the trailer for Dragonball. I don't expect it to be a decent film but it might still be fun. I'll wait for user reviews to add up.

I have limited training. My father who was at one point a decent marksman said he would train me once, but the bow I was suppose to use was my height and I couldn't pull it back, and he refused to teach me on the kiddie ones. DB was my first anime, so I hold alot of sentiment for it.

I used a few bows when I was in boyscouts but I only really had much success with the compound bow.
I never really got into DB myself though I did watch it as a kid and my best friend was a huge fan.

I didn't even get Cartoon Network to I was about 13. I remember being so super exicted about Yu-Gi-Oh, till the disappointment after the first episode. My mom thought Japan was using the blinding lights and deafening noise to cripple the Western world so we are easier to conquer.

Well, CN started with almost entirely old Hannah Barbara cartoons (like tons of Johnny Quest) and other oldies. My old man hates Anime too. In his case being Chinese he's inherited his father's post WWII attitude towards them (despite almost everybody he knew in Hawaii being part Japanese). I liked it because all my Japanese (or part Japanese) friends in school had plenty of stuff from Japan and tried to get me into it like they were.
On an interesting side note, if somebody complains about the Japanese and the "import" of cosplay. It was in fact the Americans who brought cosplay to Japan. People dressed up a Buck Rogers and Superman in America long before the Japanese had cartoons and comics.

I started watching anime to impress guys. My parents were kinda old fashion, and the fact they didn't have me to their mid to late thirties might help explain it. My family doesn't understand why an adult watches "cartoons".

Which is ironic from a baby boomer since their generation pioneered the midlife crisis, the regaining a lost childhood, and the endless adolescence. You might just say that you are trying to stay connected with your inner child.

Generally people are, otherwise far fewer children would survive to adulthood. Plus you have to take into account the concept of roles. Once your role changes to parent you generally accept the modeling of your own parents because it's what you know.
