Now for something INTENTIONALLY scary this time! Last Week's episode was simply fantastic and hilarious, and Pinkie's range of faces was simply astounding. However, one of the last faces she makes as Twilight FINALLY puts the pieces together really struck a cord with me... I just figured "oh wow, imagine if I tried to recreate that face... *wink wink to myself for some reason*.And so here she is, in all her horrifyingly semi-realistic glory. I think this made me finally see what some people see when they say my art style is creepy... Any cartoon expression is gonna look incredibly scary in real life, innit?
Ah well, I like it, at any rate. I made this in only a couple days, AND I was trying out a new shading style, so it's pretty rough and not entirely as polished as I'd like (the hair most especially), but I still like how this turned out. ^^ I think I'mma stick to this style; it's much faster and gets more detail and accuracy out of how light would bounce off the subject. Not perfect, obviously, but it's something for now. ^^
