This reminds me a lot of non-scifi/traditional work. Weird deity-like figures; eyes and masks. Really awesome to see someone working with similar subject material but with a very different technique.
I really like the composition and the subtle crosshatching you've used.

It's only a bit of practice, with the proper tools for once.
And your gallery is quite beautiful as well. The image reflected by our eyes, individually, is so very unique. It's ours and ours alone... It's a gift to be able to express anything at all, I think.

This is amazing. What I personally see is someone removing their false sense of identity (perhaps viewing with the heart rather than mind) and therefore being "above" others who are still hiding. This person also appears to be more satisfied than them.
The use of color is interesting, it adds a sense of chaos

Kind of like... blind, deaf, and silently soulless bodies.
And to answer your question, this piece was more or less just an emotional outlet for how I was feeling at the time... not so much for anything in particular.
