People say the exact same thing about My Little Pony.
People have different likes and dislikes, it's not exactly weird for people to like something you don't, or for you to like something others don't. If I'm to be honest, it isn't all that fun to get comments like this, as though it's somehow a bad thing I like something others like too.

I'm not saying it's a bad thing to like it, I could rant on and on about why I dont like it of course. I write comments like that because it would seem that no one shares the same opinion on AOT that I do... I guess it's sort of like if when you decided you liked to do anthro art, that that same day you found out that EVERYBODY else prefers I dunno... human art I guess. You know what I'm saying?

Dawt!~ Lemme try again. It's like I have this opinion, that I strongly support(due to having a lot of reasoning) and dont see myself changing it anytime soon. Yet I'm the only one who feels this way. It's kind of like being the only kid in school who follows whatever religion or the only kid in school who's an Otaku/Brony/Whoovian. That any better?

I just don't think it's a big enough deal to comment on someone's submission about it. I've liked things no one else liked, and hated almost everything considered popular among my classmates, but I still didn't go up to them saying I don't understand what's to like about it, cause obviously, there is things to like since people like it, I just don't.
