Again, I shouldn't be posting spoilery stuff like this, but whatever. So here's the sketch dump I did on tumblr for what the fusion between Steven and Dipper, or as I should probably call him, Stepper, is going to look like. I seriously can't wait to bring him in either, especially considering my plans for his intro chapter. Plus, his weapon really excites me, as its basically a very special version of the journal that can generate shields! (it does more stuff too that I won't talk about here for spoilers sake...
But anyway, enjoy!

This is an incredible piece of fanart, MiniJen. Out of curiosity, when Stepper is blushing, is it because Dipper convinced Steven to fuse so that he could try to be with Wendy or is it because Dipper's nervous personality is dominant? I'd love to hear or see the reason in a future chapter of Universe Falls.

Thank you! And I'd say your second guess is closer to how it actually is. Stepper's debut chapter will sort of explore how Stepper is sort of an unbalanced fusion, due to the fact that Steven is super excited about being fused with Dipper, but Dipper is much more hesitant because its startling and frightening for him to suddenly be basically sharing both a mind and body with someone else. So in the chapter Stepper first appears in, it will really be centered on the two of them trying to maintain harmony and become a stable fusion. And I can't wait for it!
