What can I say, femshep is pretty fun to draw. I'm not very neat at sketching though.Just played Mass Effect 1 which is an awesome game! I especially like Jennifer Hale's voice acting. Anyway, my Shepard here is called Alexis and she's an Earthborn/ war hero/ engineer/ renegon. Ah I hope joker's a LI in ME3.

Nicely detailed sketches. Tho Joker in his seat looks more like he has a Dracula cape on or something.
One of the very few that drew the human ambassador. And since you played renegade, you must know that if Shepard didn't go that way, I'd hate to see what would happen if Udina ruled the world.

Impressive! Very good work - I like skatches, black and white are the only two colors that matters in my opinion and you use them quite well! Most of all I like picture where your Shepard sits in sadness, very well done! So fave is yours!

Thanks! I thought the hairstyle didn't look too good in game and that was one of the better ones, so I made a few changes haha. Well I do try my best to get everything looking right, but dynamic poses are a whole different matter!

Yep, but I found most of the hairstyles terrible and I think more effort was put into the facial features for the male option.
Welll I've never actually drawn anyone running/ walking/ jumping ect. Sometimes it's just hard to find suitable references...

I'm not surprised, more than likely the female models were an after thought. The impression I got from the game was the character shepard was geared towards being male. Still I love that you can choose options like that, i'm all about customization. Guess thats why I draw! Though I'm in the same boat as you, I'm not particularly that skilled just yet with conveying movement and all that goodness! O: I usually dont use refs because its so hard to find ones that I like. =/

I read that was the case somewhere. The default male shepard is pretty much the series' poster boy for marketing purposes, which many people aren't happy about. Though I'm glad they chose a really professional voice actress for the female option at least. Maleshep sounds kinda flat in my opinion.
Customisation is a bonus for me too. I find creating and customising your own character fun. Actually I think you're quite good at drawing movement! Unlike you I'm terrible without proper references! Some stock photo websites have a lot of useful images, if you look hard enough maybe. Some are either too small or have annoying water marks.

Always a shame when a good project half-asses the voice acting portion. Thanks for compliment, as of late I feel like i've been getting better at it. Though I've started to use refs more often, just for that extra boost! (: But your right its really hard to find a good ref! xD

I feel the same way, I mean I still feel pretty unskilled. But it wasn't until recently when I noticed I was starting to really get the hang of drawing. I look at my own old stuff and cringe too xD I've always loved the human form and my work has focused mainly on that subject. So I guess I'm not too bad at.

I've seen improvement memes where some artists improved drastically in only two years! Practice makes perfect as they all say xD. Don't worry, you're nowhere near unskilled! You have a good grasp on the human form and a great unique style. I totally think you could become a character artist in the future.

Actually I'm not too sure at the moment, but I really do like the idea of designing for games in the future. Though I think my uni course will lean heavily towards advertising. Well my current assignments involve CD covers and logo designs.

Advertising is an extremely marketable skill in any environment regardless of most conditions. Still I bet your passion would really show through game design. Will any of these things make it on DA? Or do they like restrict you from that kinda stuff??

Yeah, advertising is pretty much everywhere these days! Possibly, if I'm happy enough with them. I don't think they'd restrict that since there's no profit or copyrights involved
