THIS IS THE MOST INSANE THING EVER OH MY GOD

Are you still working on the other parts of this? Oh please tell me you are, the amounts of happiness I'll have at seeing something this awesomely GIGANTIC finished will be beyond comprehension.

Random technical question: I really only know my way around perler beads, but they absolutely suck when it comes to a proper purple palette. What brands/colors did you use for the Venomoth's palette there?

Edit: I just noticed the DailyDot article on your profile. That's great that you use beading as a coping method! I've got epilepsy and I honestly can't think of anything better than beading to help me bounce back after the rough patches.

to be honest, i almost havnt worked on it at all since i finished the first part.. and im doubting ill ever finish it completely sorry. (know other perler artists started working on the same project after i showed this part, they might actually finish it)

i use hama and nabbi beads (cant get perler beads, or artkal in my country) so the palete is a mix xof those two
purple is also one of the two colors with the least nuances for me tho..

pretty sure i used all my purple colours exept one for the venomoth. ( so 5-6 purple/pink colours)

and thanks it is amazing to use as a coping method, but i've had problems genting into perler lately sadly

I guess that´s your masterpiece

mininete In reply to Jesusclon [2017-01-21 18:26:27 +0000 UTC]

it actually isnt the piece im proudest of.
because its made from a premade pattern, where i more or less 'just' choose colour and place them.

im far more happy about a pice like this one, made entirely from a picture megan perler

not bad
but the 150 pokemon is huge

mininete In reply to Jesusclon [2017-01-21 19:00:44 +0000 UTC]

I am aware.
but making original content from a real life picture, take way more skill. and is more satisfying than just following a pattern, almost everyone with some patience can follow a pattern. (you might run into problems with choosing colors though, if you want it to look pretty)
