The Jackals of Osiris, a Specialized branch of the Anubis Persecutioners. Noted for their heightened aggression, the Jackals are often seen as terror troops by their Anubis brothers, this is not entirely true however, as many among the ranks of Jackals aren’t any more violent then their Anubis counterpart. Yet on the other hand one can not ignore the more unsavory elements in the group either.

What truly makes the Jackals stand a part from the Anubis is their slight connection to the Abysmal Magik used by the Executioner and other Ministers. They have the ability to “resurrect” themselves with only total obliteration being a true killing blow. (Obviously this isn’t counting the natural process of aging or disease which will eventually claim then too.)

A group was sent down to the deepest chasm of the Gulch, as part of the Alternative Project, perhaps answers to the weakening Filament around the city lied deep within the pit of “Sheol” if such a place even existed that is.
