Censors

In the Old World and the City there are certain myths and stories told about the times before the Bleed that match up and concord with each other. At the cusp of the Bleed, stories spread of tall and ghostly albino creatures that would appear in the ever present nights of the Bleed stricken world, from the corners of bedrooms to the open pastures of the farmlands. They however never harmed or terrorized intentionally anyone, if anything they seem to be praying and pleading, the hollow sockets in there face held a clear expression of sadness and pity.

The Censors are said to have worn their white cloaks in remembrance of these apparitions, as they will appear at the edges of communities and tent cities within the Gulch, praying and pleading for the souls of those within. This ritual will be done for five days, on the sixth will be remembered as the Bleeding, and the seventh will be used for rest and proper cremation of all the dead.

The purpose of the Censors Purifiers, as simple and tragic, they are sent down into the Gulch, attached to teams of Anubis Persecutioners, once and when locations of High Cognitio hazards are found it is up to the Censors to purify the location. Unfortunately at times pockets of humans are found with high levels of Hazards Cognitio mutations down within the lower levels of the Gulch, it is the task of the Censors to lay them down to rest.

Adjudicator Chaplains

The Ministry of Internal Affairs began as a staunchly secular organization, that would try to stamp out and discourage religiosity within Atlantropa, encouraging ‘humanist’ and ‘scientific’ thought. This can be traced all the way back to the foundation of the military arm of the Ministry, as they were once the Illuminados, right hand men under the vile control of the Abomination known as Husk (unknown lifeform) a godly creature that sought to destroy all of mankind and is widely believed to have been responsible for the Calamity (bleed) event that ended the old order so long ago. The creature known as Husk had a hatred of things to do with the belief I higher powers, this trickled down to the illuminados and their traditions.

It wasn’t until their leader, Peter the Terrible had a revelation, that this way of thought began to change. The once Adjudicators Seculira, began the process of becoming the Adjudicators Chaplains. They went from enforcing a strict ban on religious expression, to becoming the loudest advocates of religious fervor. The transformation didn’t take long, with all elements of the adjudicator folding in with the martyring of their leader at the hands of the Federal government and Corporate Coalition during the Century of Shame. Peter the Pious, the stone from which the old faith would once more thrive within the walls of Atlantropa.

They can be found attached to squads of Lucifer Blacks, serving often as guides and councilors for the elite shock troopers of the Ministry, yet do not let that description fool you, they are by all accounts leagues above the skills of even the most adapt Lucifer, Anubis, or Censor, as they are still the proud holders of the military traditions of the Illuminados, the Dreaded hands of the Devil known as Husk.

Aethalwolf, he stood there tall and proud, the lord of the Ministry’s custodian forces. Like a stonewall. Kissinger approached the Minister, Woody wasn’t a small man, or even less a shy man, but compared to the Aethalwolf he looked like a flimsy twig. He stretched out his arm to greet him.

[Kissinger]: howdy chief, names Kissinger, I’m the ambassador for the United States of America.

[Aethalwolf]: …

[Kissinger]: hey now, don’t leave me hanging here!

[Aethalwolf]: *He reaches out his hand and grabs Kissinger’s hand* …nice to meet you… *he shakes his hand*

[Kissinger]: * a tear runs down his face* nice to meet ya too chief…

[Angelica]: *she runs up to them, grabbing Aethalwolf’s hand* hahaha now now, let him go… *Aethalwolf let’s go* I’m sorry about that Ambassador, are you okay?!

[Kissinger]: y-yes of course I am, chief here just has a strong and f-firm handshake… like a true American.
