My sister named him, she had just finished reading "The Forest House" and she couldn't stop mourning the terrible fate that befell some of the main characters so she named my drawing in honor of one of the main characters (Yup, she's almost as weird as I am).I wanted to scan this but like most mothers that like putting their childrens' scribbles on refrigerators my mom decided to frame this and put it somewhere I can't reach
so I just took a picture of it hahaAlso I entered this drawing in a t-shirt design contest for my school's Junior Classical League a few years ago and it won

As a former JCL member and t-shirt design winner for the same club, I can say this totally blows my entry out of the water (I did Metella, Grumio, Caecilius, and Clemens from the Cambridge Latin books as Mount Rushmore, haha). He's a handsome fellow, for sure, and I love the attention to detail in the armor. Is it charcoal? It has that sketchy feel. Great job!

I actually drew this with pencil I have yet to master charcoal, I experiment with it occasionally but I'm a bit clumsy and tend to smudge it all over the place haha.

i know how the whole mom has to put your stuff up. my mom's a framer. my sympathies. it looks cool though. very well done with the details. i love the different accents to his armor. the gorgon, the lion, the eagle, the women, very lovely. must have taken forever.

i wholeheartedly agree with you on that. though i will say, those spartan helms were fantastically effective. though if he's roman you don't want to put one of those on him anyway, the whole arch-enemy nation bit.
