I ruined my dear dark brown stabilo-pen painting this. Such pain.I probably won't be drawing as much traditional arts for a few months now, since I have no free periods this period. I made myself a killer schedule, just to test how much I can endure. :3
I had The Best day today. School from 8am to 5pm (ok, well that sucked a bit) and FIVE hours art! Five hours people; drawing! And it will be like this for like... until christmas at least. I totally love the illustration course I chose. *does a little dance of joy*

My friend named the dragons Argus and Bosse, Bosse being the little one.

good forshorten ,details and colouring! it's only that's a little difficult to see the baby dragon ,cause it have the same colour as the mother and it stands in front of her. nice as a hole

Such a beautiful traditional piece, a lovely image portraying a young dragon's experience. The parent (looks like the father to me) seems very proud of his/her offspring, and the little one looks overjoyed to be flying. Love the attention to detail in the scale and spike work.

Beautiful drawing, although the larger dragon's extremities don't look as fine. The hindfeet look as if they were fractured, or in an uncomfortably unnatural position. While the fore claws/hands/feet look too humanesque, that's not exactly bad by itself, but it killed the atmosphere for me.
Actually, both dragon's walking extremities look rather humane, but the problem is much more serious in the larger dragon; the little dragon could remain unchanged if this picture were to be modified (it won't, it's traditional artwork), and it would not undermine its beauty.
Overall, I really liked it, beautiful colors, beautiful everything, except the extremities. I won't fav this drawing for that reason, but keep up the good work, I admire your artwork.

You're very talented and you draw things that few others do, such as this. Don't think that I've ever seen artwork of this concept before, something to show the "family life" of dragons. Excellent job!
