I was about to say how these pictures remind me of the forests and swamps in my country, then I checked your profile and it all makes sense now.

Something about the incredibly detailed and lush background, combined with the characters really sweet expression made me fall in love with this picture. It's so full of life and energy in both spheres!

Really beautiful work! I love the depth of the overall scene, the detail of the varying layers of plants and grasses, the seriousness of the monster versus the more comical look of the character. So great.

That spine is both really cool and makes me nervous.
Friend or Foe!?
I'm getting 'annihilation' vibes from this swamp, which means it's not gonna be a good time.
Amazing work. Love all the little details.

I came across your comic around a month ago. I've recently caught up, and even if you don't see this I wanted to let you know how inspiring your work is! As a super young artist interested in pursuing making webcomics, you're probably one of my biggest inspirations. The amount of effort and detail you put into your illustrations is amazing, and the worldbuilding and thought behind them even more so. I've become more interested in Nordic mythology thanks to SSSS and I can tell I'm going to be hooked for a while. I've been voting every day now and have got a few of my friends to start reading as well! Thank you so much for sharing your comics, I truly appreciate and love each page.

Ah, thank you for your comment, I'm so glad to hear that! And definitely try webcomics, even if it turns out it's not your cup of tea in the end it's such good practice for developing both art skills and work ethic (drawing comic pages can get booooring every now and then but you just have to keep going x3) which is of course super useful no matter which direction you end up in your future art career.Β

Awesome work!
I *love* the expression on his face. Like "please don't tell me there is something huge behind me..."Β

considering it looks like a spine and ribs, he might be thinking about what could have killed something that size.
The layer of growth on it also indicates it hasn't moved in a while.
Although it could if it were some sorta undead,Β
