finished this up today; sorry this isn't the best-quality picture! i can't close my scanner's lid all the way for it, and it cut off the tail as well since the notebook is bigger than the scanner's dimensions.
anyway, this was really fun to do! especially when it came to experimenting with acrylics; i watered them down quite a bit in order to do the lens of the sunglasses as well as the magic. i think the effect came out nicely (:
i chose this outfit because it's one of my favorites that rarity dons, and i love the little part where she's filing her hooves haha

if anyone's interested in a painted notebook, i can do them for commissions for $20 + S/H ($5 for USA buyers). this would cover the cost of the notebook (you can get a regular 1-subject spiral bound, a 3-subject spiral bound [which would cost more], or a special left-handed 1-subject spiral bound), paint, and my time and effort~

materials used: prismacolor ink pens, acrylic paint, and matte clear sealant
