This is the end of the Excuses doujin. I decided not to include the "one week later" bit at the end because I felt this was a less open-ended ending. It's been a great learning experience for me, and thank you to everyone who kept with me till the end! <3

I just wonder one thing, though... if this war was in 1850, how is Alfred wearing a red cross? I thought the Red Cross wasn't officially established until after the American Civil War which ended in 1865?
