I'll take it as artistic license if that's how it turns out, but that seems like a lot of skin for any non-slave who isn't working in the fields in the jungle area. Her sarong is described as "calf-length", and has study enough folds to hold a small hand mirror. Since it's a sarong and sash, it's probably modeled after the Balinese sarong: [link] Like the link, but shorter. They only tie the top edges, not the bottom ones, so it sits more like a skirt and less like a bathing suit cover-up.
You're excellent at poses, though. She really does look like "the soul of repose".

Ohh, thanks for the reference. Haha yeah I just googled sarang and it was all bathing suit types, so I just used that ;; will try to be more culturally accurate in the future.

You're welcome. I'm kind of ridiculously detail-oriented. I really need to draw up a sheet of references for Copper Isles clothing, sometime.

Okay, totally need to go back on what I said. According to the glossary in the back of the books, women wear sarongs dress-style, tied under their arms extending to their calves. So, maybe take a look at this page? - [link]

i've always been unsure about the clothing design of this series... the sarong looks good!
