Isaline looked into her grandmother's cauldron. The potion started to boil hard. The bubbles got bigger and bigger. Isaline thought that the mixture was going to explode.... When suddenly - *POOF!* - a small bat jumped out the magic potion! Was it in the cauldron from the beginning? Did it magically appear? The only thing Isaline knew was that the potion was ruined and that her grandmother will have to start it all over again.Hello everyone!

This is a fan art of a french comic called "Isaline" that tells the stories of a young witch and her grandmother. I've always liked witches (I still want to be one...) so I was so happy to make a fan art of these characters.
I've tried a lot of new things in this drawing and I'm so satisfied with the result.
There were a lot of things here that I've never drawn before, so I was a bit afraid. But I drew without overthinking and the result is beyond my expectations! It's such a big boost for my self-esteem and for my confidence in my drawing capacities. Of course, this drawing isn't perfect but it makes me happy. Since this drawing is particular for me, I'll make a step-by-step of it soon.

Wow, the result is amazing! I think you did a great job with the lighting here, it really gives a magic-like feeling to the drawing. Another thing I love is the characters' expressions. They both look so lively!
I believe that a good fanart is one that makes people want to check out the original work, even if they have never heard about it. And your drawing manages to do that in a great way, which is why it's even more awesome. You now made me curious about this comic
