Okay, I'm more awake now. Let's try a critique.
First things first, this is awesome. I really like it (even better after looking at it the second time around). It's interesting and well done, and I just plain like it.
Now, the second thing I noticed was that the "face" of the Lord is much, much more detailed than the rest. That's not a bad thing, just something I noticed. As such, I focused there much more than on the rest of the image.
I really like the sort of random lines in the fire of the Lord's head. They look kind of like sparks flying out of his head, as if it's actually fire, not just illusory. The fact that the fire on his head also looks like it's being sucked into the black hole thing behind it is also cool.
Now, I'm not sure if the black hole is supposed to be a part of his person, or a background object that his head is eclipsing, but either way it's cool.
Finally, the last thing I really noticed was the colors. They are neat. Gives a kind of desolate-wasteland vibe to the whole picture.

I'm not really sure how old you are, but I would have pegged you for having been making art for quite a while. That didn't look all that amateurish to me. I'm no renowned art critique (far from it), but what I've seen of your stuff is impressive.
