Description I discovered that my camera's random decide to not focus on things was due to a setting I didn't know I had or accidentally messed with on my camera. Oops.

Anyway, as a tribute to that setting and the fact that I found it and fixed my focus, here's a series! Yay.

Taken in my driveway.

Aw, thank you!

I actually used my handy-dandy Sony Cybershot DSC-W50... macro setting was on and it decided to do that. It's a point and shoot camera.

hey dsc, this picture would look so much better if you had a larger DOF.

I hope you know what DOF is

mippins In reply to comicsaaaaaans [2007-04-29 04:55:05 +0000 UTC]

I bet it stands for something... but I don't know what. >_>

comicsaaaaaans In reply to mippins [2007-04-29 12:02:33 +0000 UTC]

lol, DOF = Depth of Field. To get a close DOF, Where the camera focuses on just the stuff really close up, you use a low aperture and to get one where you can focus on the image from really close to really far away you use a really high aperture.

mippins In reply to comicsaaaaaans [2007-04-29 17:49:02 +0000 UTC]

So... the picture would look better if it was focused on something farther away? xD; sorry, I didn't really follow your explaination.

comicsaaaaaans In reply to mippins [2007-04-29 18:09:27 +0000 UTC]

I'm saying IMO, that it would be better if the entire thing was focus'd.

mippins In reply to comicsaaaaaans [2007-05-01 02:26:41 +0000 UTC]

ah, gotcha.

That would be a cool spin on it, I think, but I kinda like how the picture focuses in on the single leaf... kind of makes it stands out and seem separated from the other stuff in the crack.

I have always wanted to capture the things that collect between the cracks, but never knew how I should go about it. Now I know. Very nice idea and execution.

Hehe, that's cool. I have nearly loved mine to pieces. My mom made him for me.

I may be a bit old to admit that.

Haha, no way. I love stuffed animals. My dad gave me the monkey... I think his mom made it for him, but I'm not sure.
