Personality: Gunnar is pretty much an average guy. mostly serving to be the voice of sanity no matter where he may be. He has a low tolerance for shenanigans, yet they seem to follow him around relentlessly, dragging him into the thick of things. He may grumble and complain about the situations he gets caught in, but at the end of the day, he'll end up doing what he can to help. He's a nice guy.

If someone were starving right in front of him, he'd take them to a restaurant and pay the bill. If someone was hurt, he'd rush them to a hospital and stick around to make sure they were well. If someone was in danger, he would be ready to defend if necessary.

He's the kind of person who just can't say 'no'. Though such a thing may also be his downfall.

History:

Gunnar never really talks too much about his past. Whenever asked, he will just tell you; "I lived a normal life with a normal family in a normal city. Nothing special.". But anyone with half a brain could tell you that he is clearly lying. One doesn't obtain such skills and abilities in a 'normal' life.

But one thing is true. Gunnar was born into a relatively normal family. Two loving parents? Check. Two sisters that took grave pleasure in treating him like furniture? Check. Sounds about right to me! Gunnar went through school like any other and he did his best to get good grades, managing to keep in the upper percentile. He held a part time job to be responsible and make his own money. He had friends he hung out with. Life was as normal as could be. Then his father got sick.

The doctors has no idea what it was. And it was slowly killing him. Desperate to save him, Gunnar looked into all kinds of things on his own. He found nothing. Before he could give in to despair, he was approached by a man. This man said that his organization was on the verge of discovering a cure for his father's sickness, and that he could be the first test subject. But for a price. Gunnar was recruited by this organization. He was trained to the highest degree in ballistics and firearms. His body was experimented on. Then he put to work on their various missions. He was now a part of a crime family.

The treatment for his father turned out to be successful. He was cured of his sickness and went back to be with his family. After quite some time, Gunnar had gotten fed up with working for the organization and fled. Taking an alias and wandering, never to see his family again. But he was happy. Happy to have saved his father.

And so with his head held high, he went off into the world.

But one does not invest so much into a single person and then allow them to run off free...

Other Facts:

- When irritated, he tends to get very sarcastic.

- His favorite statement for when things go wrong is "Such misfortune...".

- If forced into a fight, he will intentionally shoot high, low, or just to graze. He doesn't want to hurt people unnecessarily.

- He sleeps like a rock. Nothing will wake him up. Not an earthquake, not a bucket of water. But mention food and he will be out of bed in a flash.

- He keeps a pocket watch on him, but it doesn't actually work. He can occasionally be seen opening it and looking at it. Though he always closes it when someone tries to look.

- Since he doesn't carry an easily visible weapon, he may look like an easy target. But Gunnar actually has some street fighting experience. Probably precisely because he looks like an easy target. e v e
